A complete re-roof of a small brick family home in Sweden — stripped, rebuilt and re-tiled quickly without cutting corners, with new battens, underlay, ridge work and chimney flashings.
The family was living in the house throughout, so the roof could not stay open overnight and the work had to be fast. The brief was a full-quality replacement — not a patch — delivered on a tight schedule, with the old tiles, battens and underlay removed and everything rebuilt in sequence.
We planned the strip-and-rebuild in sections so the house was always weathertight by evening. Each slope was stripped, re-battened and re-felted before the new concrete tiles went on, with ridges re-bedded and chimney flashings renewed. Two chimneys, full gutter line and verge details were finished as part of the same visit — no return trips.
A clean, even dark tile roof completed in two weeks with minimal disruption to the family, new flashings and ridge details throughout, and a written guarantee on the work — quick, but built to the same standard as our larger re-roofs.
