The family stayed in the house throughout, and the roof had two chimneys, a dormer and awkward valleys where the old covering had been patched repeatedly.

Full tile roof replacement
A worn residential roof stripped to the rafters and rebuilt with new underlay, battens, tiles, flashings and gutters.
How we built it
We scaffolded the full perimeter and worked slope by slope, so the house was weather-tight every evening. Underlay, counter-battens and battens were renewed, and chimney and valley flashings were detailed rather than sealed over.
Outcome
A complete roof delivered in three weeks with no water ingress during the works, and new gutters and downpipes taking water clear of the facade.
