The grounds had to work hard every day: safe fall zones under every play structure, surfaces that drain after rain, and grass tough enough for constant foot traffic — all delivered within the kindergarten's summer closure window.

Kindergarten grounds and playground build-out
A kindergarten's outdoor areas rebuilt end to end: groundworks and drainage, paved surfaces, new turf, timber play structures and bark safety surfacing.
How we built it
We started with the groundworks: grading, drainage and compacted sub-bases for the paved areas. Play structures were set on proper footings with bark safety surfacing at the correct depths, timber edging was installed to keep surfaces contained, and turf was laid last so it arrived healthy and established quickly.
Outcome
The kindergarten reopened after the summer break to finished grounds — safe play zones, clean paved circulation and green lawns — delivered on the agreed date with everything ready for the children from the first morning.
